Friends

I may not have a bunch of friends, but I have a few that I hold close to my heart.  Luke is the type of friend that I would identify as a loyal best friend. He is always there for me, and I know I can count on him. He is faithful, truehearted, devoted, and reliable. He never judges me, and he does his best to support me in everything about. Autumn is my fearless adventurer friend. She is bold, brave, and courageous. She is always going somewhere new and exploring places. If you are ever feeling in the dumps, she is the one to call. She will take you somewhere and make you forget about all your worries. She is always there when I need her, and I know I can count on her. Imani is my wise mentor friend. She is always there to help when I have a problem and encourages me when I am feeling down. She is caring, loving, thoughtful, and trustworthy. She is a mentor that helps me when I have a tough time deciding what I want to do. I may not have the most friends, but I do believe I have the best ones.

College Students

College students often struggle to balance their schoolwork with the demands of everyday life. There are many things that a student can struggle with. They often have jobs, have children to care to, or either could be sick. I often myself struggle to keep up with my school work and doing other things in my daily life. One day, I had the flu. I had three tests the next day that I could not miss. There was no way around missing them and making them up because it was finals. I had to work through my sickness and go to class. I was able to talk to my teachers to be able to take my test alone because I did not want to contaminate other classmates. It did not make taking my test any easier, but at least no one else would be affected. Sometimes things might get in the way of studying and being sick did that for me. Sometimes if you stay organized, it can be easier to balance everything going on in your life.

Act of Kindness

Once Friday evening, I decided I would go grocery shopping. Walmart was crowded, and there was barely any breathing room. I gathered all my groceries, checked out, and started to walk outside with my buggy. In front of me there were two carts being pushed. There was an elderly couple and a young man. I heard the young man ask the elderly couple if he could take their groceries to their car. From afar, I watched the young man move the groceries from the cart into their vehicle. It was not just a few groceries either. The elderly couple had a full cart of groceries. The young man took the time out of his day to walk to their car and unload their groceries. He could have gone on about his day and unloaded his own groceries. However, he felt the kindness in his heart to take time out of his day to help the elderly couple. It would have been hard for the elderly couple to move the groceries, but the young man made that easier.

High School Teacher

I really enjoyed high school, however the teachers have a big impact on the experience when it comes to anyone. One teacher I had I would call an experienced one. She’s been there forever, and she’s not going anywhere. She knows everything you need to now about the school, subject, and probably the janitor. She was a very hard teacher, but she made sure that you learned. She was challenging but was kind, encouraging, and reasonable. Another teacher I had was what I called an egotistical one. He’s fairly nice and is in love with himself, but that is really all. He usually was very out of it and did not seem to know what he was doing most of the time. He was very chill and let us do what we want, but we did not learn much. The third type of teacher I had was the fun one. She was extremely fun and made everyone laugh. She would easily be distracted sometimes and talk about crazy stories for long periods of time. However, I always loved going to her class. I knew it was going to be...
